He Is Faithful

God is with you.

Have you ever felt so alone, that even the silence hurt? Beloved, you and I were not made for isolation. We know that loneliness can lead to despair, and despair can lead to depression.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

16 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.17 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,18 as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

In some seasons of life, we can find ourselves feeling isolated. Sometimes this is because of sin in our life that has withdrawn us from others because of our guilt and shame, and sometimes it is because of circumstances outside of our control. Whatever the reason, it can be very damaging to our mental and physical health.

GET PLUGGED IN

Friends, beloved, this is why it is so vital to get plugged into a local community of believers. Find the people God is calling you to do life with, and get connected.

Proverbs 27:17

17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

He loves you

God Loves you, yes YOU! He loves you so much He sent His son Jesus to this world. He died a sinner's death, so we may live. He rose from the grave and sent the Holy Spirit to dwell with His followers. You are NOT alone. Beloved, don't buy the lies of the devil. Don't remain in isolation and shame. Rise up! Enter into the community of Christ followers He is calling you to and do life together.
